I hear so often from people that they’re not creative, but I absolutely believe that creativity is in all of us and it can be developed and encouraged.

It takes a little bravery at first, because it’s something different and new, and because creative ideas are inherently something out of the ordinary. If they weren’t a little weird or unusual, they couldn’t really be creative.

I love to work on becoming a more creative person who comes up with new ideas and solutions. I’ve developed a number of techniques and ideas for developing my innovative side. Look for installments in this series for some of the practices I’ve designed and honed during my journey, as well as ideas I’ve learned from others.
